This doesn’t have to be structured exercise. Instead spend time each day doing an outdoor activity as a family. Your child will get used to physical activity and see it as a way to have fun and release stress in the process.
We live in South Florida where the climate is warm so swimming and just goofing around in the pool have always been fun activities for us. We also enjoy the ocean, surfing, body surfing, etc. These are fun, unstructured activities where everyone gets a lot of exercise, but the focus is just on having fun.
